Some things to remember about visiting Memphis:

  1. Memphis is a very large city in terms of layout. Walking from Isaac Hayes’ high school to Al Green’s church would take a full day and would provide you with heat stroke in the summer. Let us take you there in the air-conditioned comfort of a custom van. Spend time on your vacation enjoying the attractions, not trying to figure out how to get there.

  2. Memphis has very poor public transportation. You will not be able to get where you are going by taking the buses or trolleys.

  3. When it comes to taxi service, Memphis is not a typical city. In most areas of the city, you have to call ahead of time and wait for one to arrive, an average of at least 15-20 minutes, according to one Memphis cab company (Many of our record store customers in the last fifteen years have had to wait much longer). So plan ahead and add that time to your travel plans if you wish to use taxis in Memphis.

  4. Memphis’ drivers are crazy! Do not put yourself in harms way. Let our fully licensed and insured tour operators do the hard work as you relax and enjoy the views.

  5. Crime is rampant in Memphis. Many areas of historical music significance are in shoddy, rough neighborhoods—great for soul music, not so great for walking around. Allow our tour specialists to take you there safely so that your vacation may be enjoyed as securely as possible.

  6. You will come a long way in visiting Memphis to enjoy the music both past and present. Our tour operators have spent years researching and learning about Memphis music and have become experts. Take advantage of their knowledge to get the most out of your visit to Memphis. We can turn your visit from less than enjoyable to amazing.
